Please join me in congratulating Alpha Xi Petitioning Group in approval for
Recharter!!!

Washington State University Recharter on April 23, 1995!! -     Yeah!!!!

WSU(WAZZU), Alpha Xi P.G.  is now officially approved for recharter on April
23.  WSU is in Region X and the first chapter to return to Section 7 in E. WA,
N. ID & MT. Alpha Xi is the 38 chapter, originally chartered on May 5, 1935,
but has been inactive since 1975.

The ceremony will occur at 1PM on the Campus of WSU, Pullman, Washington.

One of the more interesting projects to me was the "Feed The Parking Meter"
project.
The campus on WSU has somewhat of a parking problem.  The chapter put coins in
parking meters for the cars on campus that had expired time on them.  They
then put fliers under the windshield wipers letting the car owner know that
Alpha Phi Omega feed their meter for them.  The flier also had a little more
information about Alpha Phi Omega as a co-ed national service fraternity and
also had contact information to recruit new members.  They have already gotten
a couple new members.
