Greetings all,
First and formost try to watch the language. Just because I use
it in my daily language doesn't mean I want a mailtool full of it.
Now, If I understand correctly from my dealings with brothers
from the traditionally black chapters, it was their choice to use Q. I
tend to think that it was choosen to mark thier distinctive character as
chapter. That is not to say that they are any more or less chapters than
apo or A-Phi-O chapters. It is a distinctive calling card that marks
thier unique heritage. I personally found it took a bit to get used to,
but it is thier decision to use A-Phi-Q and I respect that. I would say
that brother Caldwell is wrong about declarations of diversity (no
personal insult intended). In acting toward our goal to solve our diffences
in means other than war, we should celebrate diversity. We are all unique
and it is that uniqueness that gives us our strength. Men and women,
apo, A-Phi-O, and A-Phi-Q, we are all the sum of what Alpha Phi Omega is.
In Brotherhood,
Delta 1097
