i have to agree with ellen on this one, especially her point
that the list is not about knee-jerk retaliation, but about
brotherhood and learning. knee-jerk retaliation to single
offenses as a result of 'zero tolerance' policies tend to
cause a lot more problems and animosity than they can ever hope
to resolve. and the sooner people realize that, the better they
will be able to get along with each other and quit fighting
over petty things. people should also learn to accept the apologies
of others. that, believe it or not, is a part of brotherhood and
friendship, as well as successful co-existence. and those things,
brothers, are what should be happening in all aspects of the
fraternity, with no excuse whatsoever for their absence.
