Hey everybody,
My name is Ken Sippel and I am the ICR for Kappa Upsilon
at East Carolina University. I am writing this letter to announce that
Kappa Upsilon is having our annual Relay for Life Service Project April
28th and 29th. Relay for Life is sponsored by the American Cancer
Society and our chapter here at ECU. Relay for Life is a annual event
that raises monies for cancer research and honors current cancer
survivors as well. This is our biggest service project or the year and
is immense in it's scope. Therefore I am asking all chapters that would
like to help us out with this to do so. Relay for Life will be held
starting at 6pm on April 28th and will end at 6pm April 29th. We however
need help setting up for this event which we need people starting at 9am
April 28th. We will also need help breaking everything down the night of
April 29th. Any help any local chapter can give will be greatly
appreciated. For more information about this project you can contact me
at the address below or you can contact our Service VP Stephanie Wiggins
at 328-9120. There will be tents provided by our chapter beings this is
a twenty four hour event, but there is plenty of space to bring your own
tent. I hope the local chapters will do their best to help us out. Thank
