Greetings Brothers and other readers of APO-L,
Perhaps I'm a mass marketers worst nightmare. I disconnect from
telephone inquires, walk directly pass "on the street" interviewers,
channel surf during commerials if a remote is in hand, and I pretty much
skip over any printed ads. Recently I've become more annoyed by
multiple-page-multiple-posts reguarding non-Alpha Phi Omega business.
When I have tried to reply to the posters of the ads, the mail is usually
bounced back. Unable to explain my ire to the original author I came up
with an idea.
Here is my suggestion for those who would use APO-L for ventures not
pertaining to Alpha Phi Omega. Charge a fee for use of the list. From
what I gather these people to date (magazines and travel) are not in it
for altruistic purposes. Face it, they're out to make a buck. Why
can't we cash in on their greed? Besides, since when can't this Fraternity
use another fund raiser.
In Leadership, Friendship and Service (not sales)
