If you visited our homepage recently, you would already know what
Oklahoma State Univeristy is doing for Into the Streets (Make a
Difference Day) and Nat'l Service Day, but just in case I thought I'd
share and solicit what other are doing.
For Into the Street (Make a Difference Day):
We begin by eating lunch at the local pizza place (The Hideaway) as we
partake in the kickoff festivities of this wonderful day. We then move
out to local salvation army where we will spend the rest of afternoon
painting the outside of church.
Nat'l Service Day:
After meeting in morning to get details and maps, we commence on a two
hour scavenger hunt on county road & side streets to find an assortment
of trash & recycleable material. When we re-join, we sort out the
winners & all the runner-ups with the winners not have to cook or clean
at cookout to follow where fellowship continues...
