I believe in symbolic progression. There is a reason why things are
disclosed at certain points to the pledges throughout the process. I
will try to make a connection using the Order of the Arrow (BSA) {For
those not in the OA, BSA I appologize} There is symbollic progression
built into the program. That is why you are not permitted to shoot
arrows at a call out ceremony as it is the focal point of the Pre-Ordeal
Ceremony. The same holds true about the progression of information in
Alpha Phi Omega. There are specific points that things are revealed to
the pledges during the 4,6,8 weeks of pledging. It adds to the
experience of learning more about APhiO.
Just my ramblings on the topic of telling everything, where is the
intrigue and mystery then? Excitement!?
