I was wondering if anyone out there in apo land has any experience in
dealing with huge amounts of red tape. After numerous presentations
over the past semester and over the summer, I happened to garner an
office for our chapter. Now at the end of the summer they said they were
putting in an order for keys for us, and that they were going to have the
office recarpeted and repainted. We were slated to move in in the beginning
of October. Now, they still haven't gotten the keys in, and they keep jerking
off instead of getting the office painted. I offered to make it a service
project, but they wouldn't allow it because of union regulations. They keep
giving me excuses as to why the office hasn't been painted yet, and the keys
are not in. I've been fighting with them for quite some time. I mean I could
use my latent Israeli terrorist nature, but I would not want to cast a bad
name on our chapter. :) Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could
steamroll the powers that be to get moving? If so, please send me your
suggestions via private email at yaneev@capital.net as I am interested in
getting this office opened. At this point, I would just like the keys,
because as far as I'm concerned I'll just have our brothers paint the office.
Union or no union. I really couldn't care less. Please send me any
suggestions you have about this..

Sidd
