Along the lines of community groups working together on campus...
Here at SMU, we have APO and an "umbrella organization" called MOVE
(Mobilization of Volunteer Efforts), which coordinates a variety of
(usually longer-term) volunteer activities and also sets up community
service assigned by our Judicial Board. Many Brothers of APO participate in
and lead MOVE. Also, it's a great place to send people who like the
community service but don't want the time commitment or the social
interaction. So, different service organizations can work together in
peace and harmony.
