My vote is to split the lists.

Personally, I just skip over most of the "where is so-and-so" or the
"congrats to this chapter" or the "welcome new brothers of this chapter"
stuff, and would prefer to just read the real nitty gritty. Plus, I
don't know about you guys, but I don't get quite the amount of personal
mail that others do, so everytime I check my inbox everyday, and notice
that I have 24 new messages to only find out that 23 messages are
the where is some guy I don't know kind of message and only 1 message is
the kind I reply to--this is rather disenheartening. (And that's a run-on
sentence if I've ever seen one!) Kind of like waiting for that letter
only to find your mailbox inundated with junkmail and coupons to local
pizzarias.
But I do like reading the real issues that APO faces.
(The analogy here would be a magazine that I subscribe to.)

Thanks for letting me put in my two cents. And excuse me for those who
would have preferred not to listen to this opinion. I'm not trying to
clutter up your inbox, really.
