Keep those votes on the potential legislation list coming! So far,
most agree not to split APO-L between announcements and discussion but
there is some support for having a separate convention legislation
list to contain debate.
On another note, I have mounted an almost complete draft of a 1996
National Convention Handbook. This was originally written by the
Omicron Mu alumni association (Clarkson University, NY) and the
National Office for the 1994 convention. I have updated it a little,
but I need some people to proof it for me (feedback to
covi@ics.uci.edu) before it goes to the National Convention Web page.
I believe the National Office will come out with an official paper
version later this year, but in the meantime it is helpful and
accurrate about what to expect at convention. The URL (for now) is:
