To all that have responded, thanks for your help! I am glad to report that
we now have a confirmed advisor and two more people who wish to be
advisors! The first one is still pessimistic about it all, but I am sure
we can change his mind pretty quickly. A quick run-down of what has
happened:
Heather Hansen - all around APO goddess and the woman who knows it all
(everyone who knows her should give her their love, she has sacrificed and
done so much for us)
She will be the mover behind the scenes since she is a grad student.
Heather put me in as President of the Interest group, Cyndi in as VP, Alex
as treasurer, and Raymond as secretary. If I got this wrong, Heather will
correct me really quick.
We have a couple of service projects in the makings for next month,
including service at the Ronald McDonald House, Graffiti removal with the
local police, and several other options. If anyone else wants to get in on
this, let Heather, Cyndi, or I know and we will see what we can arrange.
Again, thanks to all that responded, and we are getting on a roll here.
Hopefully, we can even send a delegation to Nationals.
