Usenet news groups are notorious for their irrelevant threads and flame
wars. Half the time these "arguments" are cross posted to dozens of groups
where even though they have nothing to do with the charter of that group.
Because usesnet is open to the public, the posters may not even be members
of the organization the group is supposed to be discussing. Please don't
judge an organization by the spam that floats around in a newsgroup!
