Hi everyone,
I am an alumna (EZ chapter, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY) who was
active during Brother Herbert's term as president, and who met him at a number
of National Conferences. He was an extraordinary person and as good an example
of brotherhood as anyone could be.
I am considering driving down to Washington, D.C. to be there wearing colors for
the unfolding of his square of the AIDS quilt. If I go, I would leave
Connecticut on Friday afternoon, and return either Sunday afternoon or Monday
morning. I can't offer a place to stay (I've been told the apartment I'm
crashing in is tiny), but I would imagine that there must be brothers in the
D.C. area who would put up a brother traveling to commemorate our beloved
Brother Herbert.
If anyone would like a ride down (especially someone who would be willing to
share driving), please e-mail me ASAP. I'd prefer not to make the drive alone. I
can fit 3 people in my car.
Please feel free to circulate this to brothers not on APO-L.
Thank you.
Sharon Zohar
