Are you sure it's not the other way around? That the current OA ritual is
based on the APO ritual.
I've been told that there was a major re-write of the OA ceremonies done in
the 60s by a group of APO brothers and that they based the OA ceremonies on
the APO ritual. Anybody know anything about the history of the OA ritual
for real. What I know is basically 'chapter lore' (brothers from my home
chapter were involved in the OA rewrite). How old is the OA anyhow? Does
it date to the beginnings of the BSA or did it come later?
