This can be true or untrue depending on where you are doing your
scouting. Because I was a military dependent, I was required to travel a
lot. During this traveling I was a member of four different troops, and
I can tell you that one troop sucked, one was good, and two were
excellent. A lot of this depends on the scoutmaster, leaders, support
and more. I imagine the the Girl Scouts are the same way. I am sure
that there are some GS units out there that will beat the pants off of
some BS units.

Not really, I think that the founders found a great set of principles
and we have slowly adapted them to make them better as time goes on. I
believe that the reason APO is so large and still growing is because we
have adapted and overcome. We have learned to be flexible and strong.

I agree on this point, it is not JUST history, it is who we are. We
should be able to accept the Girl Scouts of the United States of America,
and any other recognized scouting organization, into our table if they
are interested in helping make the world scouting movement continue to
grow, especially into college age men and women.
