No it is not our Promise it was the Promise of the Organization of APHIO.
If a company/Organization makes the Agreement/promise to do something and
then the new people running the company decide to no longer uphold the
agreement the company. they will be sued and will lose to the people that
they are breaking the promise to.
If you do not believe me lets look at a government level example.
You have all probably heard of the 99 year agreement between Hong Kong
China and England. As you know very shortly the 99 years will run out. If
we figure that no human being lives much past 100, doesn't receive a higher
government position till at least 25 years of age, and hardly any Human
beings holds a government position for the rest of there life time. then
for at least the last 25 but probably more like 50 to 75 years the 99 year
agreement was being held due to past administrations decisions and had be
honored. If China could have legally gotten out with the mere statement
"well we didn't make that promise/Agreement our Past government officials
of X years ago and not the Current Government officials did. Therefore we
should not have to honor that agreement as we did not make it."
Obviously from this example "it wasn't us that did it, it was the
past people" is not a valid reason to break a contract. Thus we can not
break the agreement simple because "we(the current people)" didn't make the
agreement
