No. They prefer where they are. Many of them have said this.
As for the word 'little', if they don't take offense to it, why should
anyone else? Certain words can be both positive and negative. The way
the LS's see it, 'little' is not derogatory.

Why not make them brothers? Well:
(1) Because we are an AllMale chapter
(2) Because they don't want to be brothers

I don't make it sound like they're little nothings. I'm defending them
for Pete's sake! I value them as an important assisting group to the
brothers and pledges. They are very important to this chapter. In fact,
if they were female brothers rather than little sisters, I think it would
take away from what makes them special.

No, its not that simple. Its because they're different. Not better. Not
worse. Just different. You have to be male to initiate into an AllMale
chapter. That's the rule. Why do you keep thinking that this is an
importance thing? Its not. If you can understand this, then you will
begin to see that we're really decent people. We just want to stay the
way we are.

YES! I can't think of a better way to put it. We, as an AllMale
chapter, wish to stay as we are. That means that we don't want female
brothers in the chapter. Why? Because that's the way we are, and that's
the way our chapter works. We have a niche as a men's service frat on
our campus. The community knows who we are, as we are. Letting in
someone with a disability, or someone of a different ethnic background
isn't anything new here. We are AllMale. We want to remain all male. No
one in our area has a problem with this. We are supported by our
community and campus. We cause no problems. We have a service sorority
here to allow equal opertunity in L,F, and S. We have a little sister
program that benefits both the fraternity and the members of the program.
We are not harming anyone. We are accomplishing the goal F.R. Horton
gave us almost 70 years ago. we recognize female brothers from other
chapters with the dignity and respect they deserve. Why don't we get the
same? We aren't your enemies, we're just a different version of the
same thing you are. Please help us to maintain what we are. I beg you
not to crush it out from under us.
