I believe this issue affects the entire fraternity directly. When I'm
asked about APhiO, I tell people that we are a co-ed fraternity, which
isn't exactly true because there are about 10% of single-gender chapters
(of course, those at single-gender schools can't help it).
I'm still not convinced that sending it to a study committee was the best
thing, and that it may have been a disservice to the convention, but I hope
that it will be settled in '98.
