Dawn had asked about undergrads being section chairmen. Yes, there are
several, and they are an important part of the APO process.
In some areas, such as West Texas and New Mexico, where we are not
strong in alumni support at all, we have to have undergrads to support the
chapters. It worked in West Texas, as evidenced by the Texas Tech chapter
(Beta Sigma) winning two major awards at nationals. (Get your guns up,
Red Raiders!!!)
APO is different in different parts of the country, mainly because we do
not have a large alumni base spread evenly throughout the land.
