Now that I've read all the e-mail I've missed while at the convention, I'll
respond to a couple of the posts.
First, the Section 1 Chair, DJ Byrne, is not an undergrad, having graduated
from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) about five years ago (I'm not sure
which semester it was). He is an alum of my Chapter, Epsilon Zeta.
Second, from what I was told at the convention, and I believe it was by a board
member, someone can be elected to be Region Director of a region they do not
reside in only if there is no one from within the region who is seeking the
office.
I wish I could remember who had told me that information about Region Directors
at the convention, but having received so little sleep while there, and a day
of flying back to Boston and then driving to Albany, I don't remember too many
of the details of the last week. But I had a blast while I was there.
