The Philadelphia/ Valley Forge area is the TOP TOURIST ATTRACTION in the
United States
>and is home to numerous business, hotels, and convention centers.
Got that, and more . . .

Philadelphia itself has a population of 1.5 million not including the
numerous suburbs (which could include Lafayette, depending how you define
suburbs)

Philadelphia is within two hours drive of at least 5 international airports

Philly gots that, big time.

Philly has two major mass transit systems, not including the NJ line that
runs into Philly, surface trolleys, busses, taxis, and Regional Railroads.
Besides many attractions and establishments are within walking distance of
the convention area.

Sixers (O.K., but they might actually be good by 2000), the Flyers, and the
Eagles. Not to mention a minor league Hockey team, indoor lacross, and
soccor.

I-95 also runs right through Philly.
>The chapters in the immediate area are:
> Christopher Newport University (newport news)
> College of William and Mary (williamsburg)
> Old Dominion University (norfolk)
> University of Richmond (richmond)
> Virginia Commonwealth University (richmond)
Chapters in the Philadelphia area (I not sure of all the ones in Region I,
New Jersey)
Rowand (NJ)
Rutgers Camdon (NJ)
Rider (NJ)
U. of Penn (in Philly)
Drexel (in Philly)
U. of Delaware (1/2 hour away)
Ursinus (45 minutes away)
Albright (1 hour away)
West Chester (45 minutes away)
Villanova (1/2 away)
Delaware Valley College (45 minutes away)
Widener (1/2 away)
P.C.P.S. (in Philly)
Wesley (1 1/2 hours away)
Lehigh (1 hour away)
East Strousburg (1 1/2 hours away)
Moravian (1 hour away)
Muhlenburg (1 hour away)
Kutztown (1 1/2 hours away)
this does not include the numerous interests groups (hopefully Lafayette
being one of them) that will most likely be chapters by 2000.
