I post this not in an effort to start a flame war, but out of confusion. My
involvement with Aphio has been light over the last semester or so due to
personal reasons. However, this is an organization that means a great deal
to me due to what it stands for.

This responce really struck a bad chord with me. I realize that we are not
all aware of the spamming and net waste that can occur on a mailing list.
However, this original post seemed like a reasonable request for help from
(assumably) a brother in pursuit of degree studies.

This responce irritated me because it seemed not only to violate all three
cardinal principals that we strive for, but became a piece of the same net
waste that we are trying to avoid.

Again, I have been 'out of the loop' for a while. {This slightly bugs me
because 8 months ago I was planning to be at Nationals ;} As a result I may
be off base on my perceptions of being a leader, providing service to the
brotherhood and fraternity, and acting as a friend.

If my judgement is incorrect, I enthusiastically welcome responces to be
emailed to me directly. I do not wish to be accused of exacerbating net
waste on this public forum. I will be glad to redistribute the discussion
to all that are interested.

However, I feel that rash words have come forth that were inappropriate for
the request made, inappropriate for this forum, and especially
inappropriate for what this fraternity labours to achieve.
