I plan to drive to Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Denali, Valdez, and
several other places in Alaska this summer. Some of the time will be spent on interviews and one week will be spent at the Alaska Teacher
Placement job fair (thus the entire trip will be a business expense for
me).
I was planning to take a route through Canada. I'd like to make the
voyage with other friends that are interested. Let me know if you are
interested in tagging along. We could car-pool or take separate
vehicles, but I'd appreciate the extra safety and comfort of having
several people together on the AlCan highway during the several hundred
mile stretches of wilderness.
The trip from the east coast to Alaska should take about 2 weeks. The
return trip another 2 weeks. I'd like to spend around a month in Alaska
itself. This is just in the planning stages so I'm just looking for
interest.
This might make an excellent opportunity for brothers who wish to help
our interest group at University of Alaska Fairbanks. That will be one
of my destinations.
