For Advisors:
Assign each advisor an officer. For an example, appoint an
advisor to advise the Service VP. If you have a situation where and
advisor works for a bank or some other financial institution, have them
advise the Treasurer. This way you can pair up each advisor to an
officer. Hopefully the officer will keep the advisor up to date on what
is going on and keep them informed, and the advisor has a specific role
that fits their talents.

For Alumni:
Start a Chapter Alumni Association. By encouraging the alumni
to form a chapter centric alumni association, you can have the alumni
responsible for keeping the records up-to-date. This also allows the
chapter to have a point of contact on the alumni side. I have seen too
many chapters try to have one active brother serve as a contact to the
alumni for the chapter that has hundreds of alumni.
