I have been working as an advisor to the Omicron Alpha Chapter from the
time we began re-activation until the present. We are into our second
year as a chartered chapter. The PG President is still active, happy to
say. We have seen a small group of other Brothers go inactive. Thier
rationale was that the group was going in a direction that they did not
want to go with. There are only about 4 of these Brothers. So
essentially the majority of the Brothers are happy with the direction of
the programming of the Chapter. Also the Chapter has taken on the
project of hosting the Region I & II Conference in December, 1997. So
this is one way the chapter has looked at keeping the energy flowing in
the program. (By the way: The Region I & II Conference is scheduled for
December 28 - 30, 1997 in Reading, PA.) Look for more information in the
near future.
We have experienced some slacking of members of the Chapter, but no one
has left the Chapter for any type of harsh reason.
