Ok as i understand it, here is the process for revoking someone's brotherhood:
Your chapter has to vote on it, i dont know if its a simple majority or
what, but anyways they vote on it, and if it passes a letter/form is sent to
national office. The National Board of Directors (or whatever the name of
the body is) looks at the issues and recommends (or not) to the next
national convention national convention. The national delegates then have
to vote on it.
Brother liston: Yes it has been done. In fact, it was done at this past
national convention in pheonix. I forget the exact charges against the
former brother, however i do seem to remember them including
assualt/breaking and entering against another brother of the chapter.
Basically yes.. you would have to do something REALLY REALLY BAD to be
debrothered. If someone/group tries to debrother you for personal reasons
(That dont really effect the fraternity) i doubt it will get beyond the
national board, so dont worry about it.
