Questions:
1. Girl Scoting was founded only 2 years after the BSA. I know very little
about Girl Scour history. Was the foundings at all collaborated or totally
coincidential?

2. When was the scouting requirement to join APO dropped?

3. When was Gamma Sigma Sigma and Omega Phi Alpha founded, are were there
ever
any Girl Scouting requirements to join those service organizations?

4. How many brothers/pledges online here have been members of GSA or continue
to be involved with the organization? If you are, is that an APO service
activity or is it totally separate from fraternity service?

5. Likewise for boy scouts. See 4.

As for me:
My answer to 5 is as follows:

1977-1979 Cub Scout pack 211 American martyrs church, Queens Village, NY
1979-1980 Webelo pack 356 Redeemer Lutheran Church, Bayside, NY
1980-1985 Boy Scout Pack 356 " " " (attained eagle June 29, 1984)
1985-1987 Explorer ????? Alley Pond Environmental Center, Bayside,
NY

And though i was never an adult leader in scouting, I helped out on a few
Klondike and camporee events my fraternity ran.

I did come up with the idea of an (Eagle) Scouting reunion as a rush tool
about 7 years ago. our chapter occasionally does them.
