Regarding Rev's scouting involvement question,
I was a Brownie and then a Girl Scout, but in 5th grade, when my folks
moved to a new town with a Hebrew School that met on the evenings that Girl
Scouts met, they made me drop out.
There were no higher levels of scouting available in my town at the time,
unfortunately. Someday, if/when I have a family, I hope to be an involved
parent; at this time, I'm too busy to be involved now (work, school,
etc...).
