Greetings fellow APO brothers!

My name is Jen Chierek and I'm the chair for the Region VIII Conference
for next year. We had a planning meeting today and an interesting thing
which we greatly need input on was brought up. We were discussing the
possibility of having a LDW at the conference. One of the members of the
committee said that he had been to a LeAD which is a shorter, less
restricted version of a LDW. He did not feel that the LeAD was as
informative and as helpful as it could have been. I was wondering if
anyone out there could shed some light on this whole discussion. I have
never attended either of these, but we would just like some input on
impressions of both of them and how appropriate it would be to have the
longer version the LDW as opposed to the LeAD. All comments will be very
well received. Many thanks!!!!!!

Yours in LFS,

Jen Chierek
