Having a group of people that feel they have a reason to exchange info that
isn't adequately handles in other forums. In the case of the apo-alumni
list, the question is what do APO alumni want to discuss that they aren't
already discussion or can't discuss on APO-L & APOSOC-L.

There are *NO* offical APO email lists recognized National. As for
publicity for the list, you can talk to Pat Burke, mrn Tomusiak (PR), or
Bobby Hainline (alumni) about where in the scheme of things letting the
brothers know that the list exists fits.

The official fraternity policy is that the fraternity has no official
mailing lists, though sometimes mailing lists might be used to relay
official information.

To be perfectly honest, I also wonder whether or not there's a need. Right
now, there doesn't seem to be a critical mass of things relevent to alumni
that are boring/annoying the actives that are being posted on the current lists.
