I think that many chapters that post as you stated " heling these officers
... " have the positions following that phrase to be appointed, rather
than elected, positions
Having been at both Maryland and Old Dominion, Maryland elects all
officers and appoints assistants or deluties (when I was active there I
mean); Old Dominion only elects a President, VPs for Service, Felowship,
and Membership, a Secretary and a Treasurer - all other positions are
appointed (exvcept for conference/convention voting delegates, which are
elected as the need arises)
