as far as I know, they're the only fraternity on campus, not counting academic
and honor fraternities. At least, that's how it was about five years ago when I
gratuated from there.
This is still true as of last May. If I remember the details of the story
correctly, Bona's USED to have social Greeks on Campus as late as the mid-60's.
But at one point they were booted off campus or they all just kind of died, or
something. I don't believe there were any formal actions taken to ban social
greeks from campus: they have just always been discouraged.

the Campus Ministry. SBU is a Franciscan college in a very small town
(Allegany, NY, where I grew up). There has always been a good amount of service
done through the Campus Ministry there -- as I recall, the brothers and I and a
few other friends of the chapter used to meet at the Ministry every Friday at
2:30 to go to the Warming House, a sort of soup kitchen where we'd volunteer. I
think they have their meetings at the Ministry these days, not sure about that.
This is true. Also, there's the fact that I mentioned earlier that no official
rule banning greeks was ever instated. The ties between Campus Ministry and APO
are very tight at ABB, so much so that two advisors are actually Campus Ministry
employees/workers/whatever (the Social Action Director and his assistant).

Here I am! Here I am! Is there anybody else out there?
