The interest group at American University in Washington, DC is going to
have their Petitioning ceremony this week. I want to invite all Brothers
of APO to the event. Specifics and Directions follow:

AU Petitioning Ceremony
Tuesday, April 30, 1997 at 7 pm.
The ceremony will be held in the Anderson residence hall Formal Lounge.
Please be there 30 minutes early if you have a role in the ceremony.

Directions from VA:
Cross the Key Bridge from Rosalyn into DC. At the end of the Bridge,
make a left turn onto Canal Road. Follow Canal Road around a curve, and
Canal becomes Foxhall Road. Follow Foxhall road about 3-4 miles until it
ends. Make a right turn onto Nebraska Avenue. Between the first and
second stoplights, you will see a parking lot on your left with Parking
meters.
Park by a meter if there are spots available. If not, continue East on
Nebraska Ave., and make a right turn on Massachusetts Avenue. Park along
the street on Mass. Ave, and go to the aforementioned parking lot.
(Those big words make my brian tingle. :-)

Campus Directions:
>From the entrance to the parking lot, head into campus (directly away
from Nebraska Ave.). Approximately three buildings ahead of you on the
left, you will see a quad of dorms, and Anderson is one of them. Turn
left in the middle of the quad, and Anderson Hall is on the right. The
front desk will direct you to the Formal Lounge.

Directions from the North:
Take the beltway toward Virginia (the west side of the beltway). Exit
onto River Road, and follow River Road until it ends (several miles). At
the end of River Rd., make a right turn on Wisconsin Avenue. About one
or two blocks ahead, you will hit Tenley Circle, and Nebraska Avenue.
Make a right turn on Nebraska Ave. Follow Nebraska Avenue past Ward
Circle (Massachusetts Ave.) and you will see a parking lot on your left
with Parking meters.
Park by a meter if there are spots available. If not, go back East on
Nebraska Ave., and make a right turn on Massachusetts Avenue. Park along
the street on Mass. Ave, and go to the aforementioned parking lot.
