Yes, I'm aware of that. But as pledges and rushees are at present at most
functions (depends on how long your pledging period is, and all that), it seems
that the policy would apply to (dare I say?) most events.

Hey, you just asked me for a few good reasons why alcohol should be absent. I
thought that was one. Also, it was to illustrate that the policy is
*preventative,* not *punative.*
