Brothers:
I've talked to several people at the American Red Cross, Centex chapter and
right now, they are still evaluating exactly what's going to be needed.
The person I talked to said that right now, there are several things we can do..
First, if anyone reading this is in the Austin metroplex area and can make it to
the K-EYE 42 television station, they are going to be having a telethon from
7:30 - 11pm tonight (Wednesday, May 28).
In addition, they're opening a donation drop-off center that they can use
volunteers for, starting Thursday, May 29th at 6:30 am and continuing on Friday,
May 30th, from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm. This drop-off center will be benefitting the
American Red Cross, the Austin Food Bank, the Salvation Army and is being
jointly sponsored by the KVUE television station.
Weekend activities are still being discussed, and as I get more information,
I'll pass it along.
