"Q" chapters update

Hello to all my brothers:
Yes, it's the Jumpmeister comin' back at you in the nine-seven. My e-mail address is still alive and kickin'. Hope it doesn't run out. My post is in regards to the fact that now that I have some contacts, I can now give you a true update in regards to what is going on at some of the Alpha Phi Omega chapters at the historically Black colleges and universities (know by Sectional, Regional, and National staff as "Q" chapters).
An alumnus/co-founder of the now defunct Alcorn State chapter (Alpha Alpha Lambda) is setting up a nationwide effort to locate "lost" A-Phi-Q brothers (A-Phi-Q is how African-Americans address Alpha Phi Omega) and to set up a networking forum for us to discuss issues unique to A-Phi-Qs (hazing, publicity, service, social events, relationship with the Black GLOs, etc. and to find ways to resolve problems and to broaden our service, social, and publicity base. As a collective, the A-Phi-Qs are also trying to maintain our ties with our (unofficial) sister sorority, Gamma Sigma Sigma through social events and service projects, like the Gamma Sig Founders Day Weekend on Oct. 10-12 @ the University of Alabama (e-mail me for more info). There is also an "AyPhiQue/Gamma Sig Homepage (the address will be given in my next post).
Now for the chapter goings-on
Kappa Delta (FAMU)--Doing well as far as A-Phi-Q chapters go. Planning some big service projects for Homecoming (Nov.8--also Nat'l Svce. Day).
Rho Omicron (U. Md. Eastern Shore). Declared inactive by Nationals this past summer, the person who helped the chapter become a petitioning group has 10 students, and the "chapter", while filled with A-Phi-Q spirit, but bothered by some of their concerns going ignored by Nationals, is contemplating starting a
new organization.
Psi Nu (Benedict College). There is an interest group of 11 students present. An alumnus who was their interim advisor had to step down and it would behoove the sectional/regional staff in the Columbia, S.C. area to pay a visit to the school before the interest group dissolves (this is a potential interest group only--no activity has exisited with this group).
Pi Zeta (Tuskeegee University). In serious trouble (4 actives on campus--one of which is to graduate this semester). Problem: a new frat on campus has pulled potential APhiQ brothers to them. Brothers said they would increase publicity, which was lagging in the past.
Miss. Valley State -- Potential interest group (4-5 students?). Plan on attending the Gamma Sig Founders Day Weekend.
Univ. of Alabama--Individuals have inquired about starting a chapter there. A potential interest group might form as a result of the Founders Day Weekend.
Psi Omicron (Morehouse College of Medicine)--Atlanta APhiQ alumni are looking into a potential interest group wanting to get restarted.
Chi Nu (Grambling) From what I have been told, struggling to get new brothers. There has been talk of going co-ed, but I cannot confirm anything.

Tau Zeta (Texas Southern)
Chi Upsilon (Dillard)
"Death" Rho Epsilon (Savannah St.)
Phi Zeta (Ft. Valley St.)
Psi Lambda (Rust College)
In short, we are improving our networking and recruiting, and in addition, The Gamma Sigs are informing us of potential APhiQ chapters and vice versa and/or inquiring about how such groups can get started.
