This past weekend, brothers from Region V gathered at the campus of the
University of Louisville, Delta Theta Chapter, in Louisville, KY for the
Region V Conference. This conference was noteworthy for several reasons.
Just a few short years ago Section 67 (E. Central KY) consisted of one
chapter (Delta Theta) and one brother. The chapter and the section have
grown to the point where they were capable of hosting the largest Region V
Conference in history. This was also the very first regional conference held
in Section 67.
Over 335 brothers and guests attended the conference and participated in the
seminars, service projects and other activities. Vice-President Jack
McKenzie made the journey from Clemson to join us as well. (We're still
wondering Jack if you told Dave Emery that you were dressing up as him at
the costume party).
The brothers of Delta Theta Chapter are to be congratulated for their
outstanding efforts in hosting such a successful conference. Additionally,
the brothers of Region V are to be congratulated to making the trek to
Louisville at the far western end of the region to represent their chapters.
For those of you who missed the conference, you missed a great time and a
great opportunity to experience Leadership, Friendship and Service first hand.
