Hi Stacy,
Well, there are a lot of great Rush ideas out there. Different things
work on different campuses. Personal contact tends to be the thing that
draws most folks into the Fraternity. In your case, being a Petitioning
Group, you can also get people excited by the concept of starting something
new. General info meetings are a good, standard event to have. Some
Chapters find it useful to include a few Service projects during the Rush
period, to give your prospective members a feel for what the Fraternity
does. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you publicize it by any and all
means available to you. Creativity helps a lot.
