I'm familiar with the two chapters in my neck of the woods. Theta Epsilon=
at Illinois State usually has meetings that run for exactly an hour, with=
executive committee following the business meeting. Omega Epsilon at=
Illinois Wesleyan usually has meetings that last 30-40 minutes, with the=
last meeting (involving elections) taking 75 minutes.=20
It really all depends upon the schedules and needs of the actives. Omega=
Epsilon's members are typically very busy, and so they typically vote in=
leadership that is committed to keeping meetings as short as possible=
without impeding discussion. Theta Epsilon is a "new" chapter and likes to=
discuss things more. =20
