This is actually very similar to the way our chapter works.  Mu is a co-ed
chapter, and there isn't any voting into pledgeship (a.k.a. bidding).  I
suppose there is voting on pledges, but this is not done on an individual
basis.  Exec board and the pledge trainer compile a list of pledges they
feel should be activated, and chapter then votes on approving the entire
list.

Is this true at any other chapters?
