The small chapter I graduated from in '94 saw
most of the chapter eventually marry other brothers.
I remember being one of the few that didn't: and I was
once engaged to another brother. Those that got
married, however, seem to be very happy. The
year I graduated there were four different brotherhood
couples who got married. Three were inter-chapter wedding.
One was between a now Chi Pi alum and an EZ alum.
It has taught brotherhood marriages can actually
work, and sometimes people are even happy. My word
of caution from my own experiences, however, is that
it doesn't always work out that way. Even in the case
of alumni, chapters have sometimes seen the fallout.
It is a very hard thing when people decide that sides
have to be taken. I was wondering how people and chapters
have handled the non-happy variation diplomatically.
