I hate to toot my own horn *TOOT* but I was afraid we would get snippy about
the subject of all-male vs. mixed gender chapters. All I wish to do is reiterate
that the all-male chapters may survive for now, but sooner or later they will
come to accept the changing times the way many former all-male universities
have in admitting women. Times change and as good leaders, friends, and servers,
we must be willing to change with them or face extinction. That was the wisdom
of the 1976 convention and I think it might well have saved our organization
from extinction. So I say to all of you, let the matter lay, it will be
decided sooner or later. We are all supposed to come together in the spirit
of brotherhood to be of service, to be friends, to be leaders. What kind
of friendship do we portray when we argue over things? What kind of leadership
can we instill when we can't agree on our own organizations? Most importantly,
who has time for service when we snip and bicker at each other about this
topic? Like the Eagles say: "Get over it!"

Love to ALL my brothers male and female
Jeffrey

PS: Wishing everyone a safe, enjoyable holiday season!
