As some may know, in years ending in 8, traditionally we do a regional
re-allignment. That is, we look at the regional structure and
try to make changes for the betterment of the system over all.
A few things I have heard are going to 12-14 regions, in an effort
to bring the size of the western regions down to something
manageable... and that this can potentially trickle down to the
sectional level, depending on your RD.
Also, while there is no strict term limit, 2 terms is the traditional
limit for a National President, and that being so, who are people thinking
about as possible options for the presidency? VP? other board positions?
lots of stuff to talk about ... =] What about Service themes for
the upcomming 2 years? (with 2000 upon us, maybe we should devote ourselves
to the 2000 computer bug =)
Just some possible ideas to open some new conversations...
