Alot of times this may be a good case for having alternate methods to get credit. Many times someone may not be able to attend a project, but could help with the planning or preparation. This gives everyone a chance to get credit for projects.
If someone has a heavy academic load or is working alot, they may not qualify for active membership. We offer associate membership to those who are in that situation.
IMHO Active membership (the right to vote, have little brother, hold office) should be a privelege to be earned. Everyone is welcome to come out to projects and social events, but if someone isn't attending most of the projects and meetings, they really aren't involved in the fraternity. They therefor shouldnt have all the rights that people who are involved do.
