We do.

Maybe...

OTOH, you don't get lost in the shuffle... I have no objections at all to
two CPWs in Region X or National Convention planning sessions.

Region X is the best example of why the decision 5 or 6 years ago to pull
all extension co-ordination up the Region levels might not work for all
Regions. Having a regional extension vice-chair in charge of the North is
very useful. Besides does it relly matter where they are? I think the
Region X extension chair lived in Georgia for a while. Not much more
convenient for the southern Pacific.

It sounds like for this you have found a solution without having to split...

Who gets Utah? (In some ways it is better for you to get it since Utah
and Southern Idaho have more in comon with each other than Utah and Las
Vegas)

As do I. Putting Seattle and Phoenix into different regions certainly
makes more sense than a lot of other proposals...

However, a part of being a Region is electing a specific member of the
board and right now that becomes even less fair than it is currently.
There are 45 chapters in Region V and most rearragements of the area
don['t get that number much below 35. They elect one board member with 45
chapters and you would elect one with 6 chapters. I would support a
resolution that would say that the National Fraternity should make the
Northwest a separate Region when it gets EITHER 15 chapters OR 2/3 of the
smallest Region...
