Has any chapter ever jumped the gun on freshmen and rushed high school?

My chapter has not, but this idea has occurred to me.

I'm not talking making a tour or anything, but rather each brother in the
chapter sends a flyer to the guidance/college counselor in the HS of his/her
origin talking about APO. This flyer is intended to be circulated or posted
for HS seniors to consider. This would fall in line with the practice of APO
being listed in the Scout manual for pre-college boys to consider, but this
practice would allow college-minded men and women the headstart to consider
a service fraternity.

By the way, an RPI social fraternity invited me to an event over two months
prior to me starting school there, so I haven't totally made this up.

Has any chapter advertised APO in this or a similar manner?
