does your vps of membership run together or do they run sepreately?
my personal opinion is that having one office with that covers both
postions is better. this way you do not have two people with strongly
contrasting veiws that can not be settled easily arguing over little
details. in our chapter we either have runnign mates for vp of membership
and they split the duty of active and pledge training. or the vp of
membership appoints the pledge trainer and exec approves.
i have been through a semseter in which the vp of membership and pledge
trainer did run seperately and there were times that this caused more hurt
than help. it caused within exec and that office several occasions where
membership offices were power played against each other this is hard on
active membership and on the pledge period.
so i guess in short it is good to split the office but it is better to run
as co's or appoint the pledge postion this would be my opinion.
