I too was puzzled at this. Our Membership VP supervises the
pledge program, but lets the pledge-trainer run the show more
or less. We just rewrote our entire pledge program (to be instituted
in the Fall) and our MVP and Pledge Trainer are eager to work together
to make sure the next crop of pledges we induct are knowledgeable and
helpful to the brotherhood. Not that the previous program had any
major flaws, it was just not very well organized. At any rate, MVP
in our chapter doesn't have a whole lot of responsibilities, he's
next in line for President, he oversees the pledge program, and he
takes roll at the various brother functions...what are some of the
other chapter's having their MVP doing that he/she is so busy?
I know someone mentioned that their MVP was super busy answering phones
and other stuff, but why are they doing all that?
