As some of you may already know, the Atlanta Metro Area was devastated by
tornadoes overnight, esp. in De Kalb and Gwinnett Counties. I am
forwarding this message from Hands on Atlanta for anyone that may want to
help with the relief effort.

> The American Red Cross estimates that it will only need the assistance of
trained American Red Cross volunteers at present. Within the next 24-48
hours, once the damage has been assesed, they will know better how to utilize
volunteer support in other areas. If you are interested in becoming involved
with the relief effort, please call 1-800-HELP NOW to reach the service center
nearest you. If you would like to be trained for future disasters, please
contact the Dekalb/Rockdale Service Center of the American Red Cross at
404-296-0505.
